I think leaders of the church should not be too far from the leadership of the country,though they ought not to be involved in corrupt practices but ought to be source of Godly advises and directions.In the old Israel,the kings and the prophets of God were usually close.The kings mostly depended on the prophets to hear from God and then lead the people aright.

From the tweet, i believe he is referring to the struggle against poverty not for himself obviously, but for others.It is our collective responsibilities to see that those who are helpless and poor among us are helped.The bible teaches us to not forget the poor among us(Hebrew 13.16) .Dear friends, in any way we can and with whatever capacity,let us make sure that we touch lives around us and at all times.God bless everyone in Jesus name amen.
