HE UNDERATED THE AILMENT AND GOT HIS LEGS AMPUTATED AS A RESULT! by Femi Obadun

NEVER UNDERRATE ANY CHALLENGE EITHER BIG OR SMALL!

In spiritual battles, every battle or challenge must be fought with almost equal energy and if so, the victory so obtained must also be seen as big regardless of the degree of fierceness of such battles. If the opposition seems weaker and less sophisticated than you, do not underrate it and thereby approach the battle casually or conversely if the opposition seems stronger and more experienced with sophisticated weapons, yet, do not overrate it and thus, face the battle with cold feet.
However, you are not advised to waste so much of your resources and energy in facing a less formidable opposition if your team seems to be the bigger opposition. Winning battles has less to do with the vastness or sophistication of the resources you can employ but much to do with your attitude, belief and disposition. When you underrate the opposition in your spirit despite your enormous resources, your entire system goes to sleep, and you may be defeated surprisingly and conversely, when you approach a more formidable opposition with a high and dogged spirit of determination, your entire system stay awake to fight the war and an unexpected victory could be yours.
The reality is in the realm of the spirit and that is why the moment someone is defeated in his spirit, the moment his spirit is en-caged, no matter how powerful he is in the body or how rich he is in material things, he is not likely to survive the battle.
Recently,i counseled a friend who was seriously sick up to the point of death, he was becoming paralyzed even. It was a spiritual attack. I took it upon myself to enter into the battle with him. I had no opportunity to meet him physically; I could only be reaching him through phone calls. So what the Holy Spirit led me to do was to try and bring up his spirit through counseling. I straightly told him to be strong in his spirit and never allow depression and attitude of hopelessness to overtake him. Several nights I would wake him up sometimes around 2 am, ministered, counseled and prayed for him. After about 2 weeks, I spoke with him, and to my surprise, the man who had been previously devastated now became so happy and hopeful, he was beginning to get well even to his own amazement. My friend was faced with a more formidable enemy but he countered it with a higher spirit !
On the other hand, I met someone who at the time just has a little cut on one of his toes, though I had no opportunity to evaluate his spirit’s attitude towards his predicament, but I sensed in my spirit that, he underrated the ailment and his approach to tackling it was too casual and at last , he had one of his legs amputated.
Friends, do not underrate any challenge, there is no such thing as small challenge, so long it’s called a problem, it cannot change its name to become a fortune. And so it must be crushed out of the way, else it would grow from being small to mighty. If you do not start trimming the branches of the tree which has the potential to become mighty, early enough, you may not be able to handle it later.
