BISHOP OYEDEPO BANNED EATING OF EGG IN HIS HOUSE

The founder of Living faith church worldwide and 2 private universities in Nigeria namely Covenant University and Landmark University never had it smooth while trying to grow the vision which God committed into his hands.He rose from what one can call full -time poverty.He was never born with  silver spoon in his mouth.In his house in those days,one day they told him that egg has finished from the store and his reaction was ' how come the eggs which we bought few days ago have suddenly disappeared? In that rage,he made the law that from that moment,egg would no longer be part of their food in the house. Why did he do that dear friends, it was not because the man was callous and never wanted the best life for his family,it was because of poverty,they were having poverty on a full scale and as full time friend in their home.The adage goes thus 'a hungry man is an angry man',Poverty can turn a gentle fellow into a violent person,It can turn a decent person into a corrupt person.This is why Agur prayed this prayer to God as recorded in Proverb 30.7-9                                                                                               7.Two things have I required of thee; deny me them not before I die:
8 Remove far from me vanity and lies: give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with food convenient for  me:
9 Lest I be full, and deny thee, and say, Who is the Lord? or lest I be poor, and steal, and take the name of my God in vain.
