And in this case, what should matter most to every mortal is the salvation of their souls through the precious blood of our blessed Lord and savior Jesus Christ.Yes the bible says that the wages of sin is death (Romans 6.23),meaning spiritual death.This is what it means when one becomes less concerned about his sinful spiritual state,working and walking according to the dictates of the flesh and the ways of the world,Such a person is gradually dying spiritually though he may not be conscious of it..Dear friend, it is a matter of priority for us to be reconciled to God and then begin to walk in his fear and enjoy the peace that is in Him.God bless you in Jesus name amen.
