Healing is a window into the heart of the Bible-God. He is not a remote and indescribable Being who does nothing and lets everything slide. Among world religions that is exactly what Christianity does NOT say. Jesus never suggested that we bow to suffering as the inevitable will of God. Jesus had no track with fate (kismet), nor with re-incarnation (karma), obliteration (Nirvana) and un-weeping eyes (Stoicism). Christianity doesn't deal in theories but in power. His servants have no guaranteed magical omnipotence, but Christ is in action against everything that spells death, like sin and sickness, either instant or distant. Blessed?
