Those who fight on their knees have got victory in the spirit. Many face defeat today because they have failed to apply the right weapons. Some are using physical means to fight spiritual battles, what a folly! The word of God in your mouth has creative power; (Heb 4:12) it can command a legion of spiritual soldiers within a second and destroy the most formidable, unseen forces of darkness. It is described as the sword of the spirit; it is quicker than the fastest warplanes and more powerful than the mightiest warships. The living faith in our hearts is the most powerful deflector of arrows of doubt and fears. We fight wars everyday of our lives as humans living on this planet earth.We should not be without a conviction in our heart that if God be for us no one can be against us? This should be our shield, our veritable weapon.It has worked in many live up till this moment. When you ride on a fast power bike without your helmet, you should know that you are embarking on a high risk journey! In the same vein, it is also risky if you don’t wear your hood of salvation and constant faith in God for your safety wherever you go. The word of your testimony of salvation is also very key.You must be ready to identify with Christ and share testimonies of what effect his shed blood has made in your life. It’s always better you start a conversation about your faith in Christ first before you are taken on a tour of fruitless and worthless discourse which may even result in arguments by the other person. Believers can be likened to travelers inside a jet plane, and just as the Pilot would sometimes announce to passengers to fasten their seat belts, the bible has also asked us to stand fast(en) and guide our waist with Truth on our journey through this world. The word of truth which is a good weapon must be found in our mouth always, though the world in which we live prefers lies to the truth, because truth, which is the seed that develops into freedom for the soul, is yet more corrosive to the flesh than the most concentrated sulfuric acid. Yet it is the belt of our safe landing into the arms of our God.
