IS JOSEPH PRINCE RIGHT BY SAYING THAT THE HOLY SPIRIT NEVER COMES TO CONVICT BELIEVERS OF THEIR SINS?

I saw this photo posted on nairaland
I made my research only to find out that that is not what the preacher said exactly. On his Facebook page, he states it thus''The Holy Spirit does not convict the believer of sin, but of his righteousness in Christ!''
Now the preacher is right. The bible tells us of the ministry of the Holy Spirit in John 16.8 '
And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:
The 'world' is different from the 'believer'. The believer has been delivered from the spirit of this world, the holy spirit did the job of convicting the sinner once and for all for him to become a believer in the first place. The moment the sinner becomes a believer, the holy spirit needs not to convict him of sin anymore because He is now born of God,the seed of righteousness now dwells in him.He only needs to be reminded of his position in Christ, which is the position of the righteousness of Christ. This consciousness of his righteousness in Christ is necessary for him to continue to live in victory. However, when a believer sins, the holy spirit may remind him of his fallen state, not convicting him anymore. The believer knows he is already fallen.Unbelievers do commit sins without any remorse, that is why the holy spirit needs to convict them and then bring them into a state of regrets and repentance- By FEMI OBADUN
