THE MAN AT THE BEAUTIFUL GATE

But for the mercy of God, the crippled man at the beautiful gate of the temple of prayers would not have been healed miraculously(acts 3.1-7) peter and John were entering into the temple for prayers, they were accustomed to doing that, while the crippled man was accustomed to asking for alms from the worshipers.the crippled man must have been hearing of real miracles that  God has been doing through the hands of the apostles right inside the temple, yet he decided not to make attempt to join them.he was comfortable asking for alms.many in our world today are like this crippled man.they are hearing the news daily of what God is doing in some lives but they have never made any serious attempt to seek that God.they have remained at the beautiful gate, crippled by sin and disobedience.friend it is not every one that sits outside the arena of grace that may be fortunate to be met by grace like the crippled man and be saved and healed.we must make attempt to enter into the temple and seek God. when we seek him with all our heart, we shall surely find him.Good evening.
